Church provides 250 holiday boxes to Food4Kids families
Crossroads Fellowship Bible Church of Wichita is in the news today for its delivery of 250 food boxes for families with children who attend Colvin Elementary, where 97 percent of students are classified as economically disadvantaged. The food boxes are intended to support families over the upcoming holiday break when children will not have access to meals at school. Boxes went first to the dozens of children who participate in the Food4Kids program for chronically hungry children. Read the story in today’s Wichita Eagle here. The Kansas Food Bank extends thanks to the Crossroads church for its dedication to the fight against child hunger!
