Show us your best 80’s picture or better yet, bring out that 80’s attire and come volunteer with us at the food bank between January 14^th and Feb 27^th and enter to win a pair of tickets to see Metallica at Intrust Bank Arena on Monday, March 4^th.

Every volunteer session will equal one entry.  Bring a friend who has not volunteered here before and earn an additional entry.

The 80’s Staff

Some of us here at the Kansas Food Bank actually lived the metal days of the 80’s long before we became METAL CAN aficionados.

For four weeks leading up to the drawing we will post our “80’s Staff” showing off their best look (from the 80’s of course)!  We will encourage people to drop off canned items during these four weeks to support the staff member who will draw the lucky winners of the two pair of tickets to see Metallica on March 4^th.  This will give our staff the opportunity to compete a bit as well, sharing their posts encouraging people to drop off specific canned items.  The 80’s week staff that collected the most pounds will draw the winners.

We are looking for specific canned items:

Chunky Soups – all varieties
Ravioli or other meal in one’s
Canned Fruit – light in water

All Within My Hands Foundation

Metallica will be presenting a $10,000 check to staff members of the Kansas Food Bank on Monday, March 4th prior to their concert at Intrust Bank Arena.  Tickets are on sale now by visiting Intrust Bank Arena website.
