Regarding COVID-19
In an abundance of caution regarding the potential impact of COVID-19 virus, the Kansas Food Bank is cancelling all volunteer shifts, effective March 16, 2020, until further notice.
The Mobile Hygiene Pantry scheduled for Saturday, March 21 has also been cancelled.
The well-being and safety of volunteers, partner agencies, our staff and the Kansans we serve is our utmost priority.
We are taking all possible precautions in the event the virus begins to have a wider impact.
The Kansas Food Bank is in daily communication with appropriate agencies, we have instituted expanded clean operations and we are continually evaluating the situation.
We are in contact with our partner feeding operations around the state offering best practices. Getting food out to those in need is and has always been our number one goal.
We’re are committed to making sure there is not an interruption in our operations the best we can
Thank you to all of you that so graciously support us. Together we will get through this. If you would like to make a monetary donation, that can be done here.
