In his State of the City address on Jan. 26, Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer highlighted the need for Wichitans to care for its hungry children and praised the efforts of community organizations who have stepped up to adopt hungry children at 27 Wichita public schools through the No More Hunrgy Kids campaign.
