For 20 years, the Food 4 Kids program at the Kansas Food Bank has been providing chronically hungry kids with packets of food on friday afternoon to nourish them through the weekends, at no cost to the families or schools.
This season of giving, our generous friends at Cargill are matching all gifts to the Kansas Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids program — up to $100,000 — until the end of the year. Every dollar will be leveraged to make healthy, kid-friendly food available on weekends and school breaks when children often miss out on vital nutrition.
