One year ago today, we stood alongside partner agencies, city officials, board members and donors as we cut the ribbon to celebrate the opening of our Garden City facility. It was a joyous day, but we knew our work was just getting started if we wanted to transform the landscape of hunger in western Kansas by doubling the amount of fresh produce and increasing overall food distribution by 50% in the 31 most western counties.
