As summer stretches on, many families across Kansas face a critical challenge: how to keep their children nourished without access to school meals or USDA summer feeding programs. That’s where the Kansas Food Bank’s “Filling the Gap” program steps in—bridging the food access gap for kids 18 and under during these vital weeks before school resumes.
This summer, Filling the Gap will provide FREE 5-day meal packs—containing both breakfasts and lunches—at five convenient locations across the Wichita metro area. No registration is required, and all children must be present to receive a meal pack.
