There are several ways you can make an impact for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Together, we can help ease the burden many are feeling by sharing nourishment and hope. Here’s how you can help:
Donating monetarily is one of the most impactful ways to help, with every $1 donated helping provide up to 4 meals.
Consider picking up an extra item or two at your local grocery store to donate to the Kansas Food Bank. Some of our most-needed items are:
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Fruits & Vegetables
- Canned Proteins (Chicken, Tuna, Beans)
- Soups & Stew
- Pasta & Canned Pasta Sauce (No Glass Please)
Donations can be delivered to the Kansas Food Bank at 1919 E Douglas Ave in Wichita Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 12 PM and 1 PM – 4 PM. Please call us with any questions at (316) 265-3663.
Consider amplifying your impact by hosting a food drive or virtual food drive with your friends, colleagues, classmates or other groups!
Online fund drives are particularly good for groups or organizations that are not all in the same place, or for those who want to promote their fund drive online through social media. We can prepare a customized online donation page for your fund drive, complete with any graphics and wording to tie it in with your campaign.
