Hello Friends,
I am working on my Eagle Scout project which benefits the Kansas Food Bank. I have chosen to help support the Food 4 Kids program which provides weekend packets of food to children who experience hunger on the weekend. Currently there are over 7,100 kids who rely on this packet of food every Friday during the school year.
Will you please help me reach my goal of raising $1,000 to support the program? If I can raise that much money, I will be able to provide 222 backpacks full of food.
- $4.50 will provide one backpack for a hungry child
- $18.00 will provide a backpack for a month for one child
- $135 will provide a backpack for a child for the entire year!

Here is what a packet of food looks like! I have been to the food bank and helped pack backpacks several times. It is a great activity! Also, I am helping coordinate volunteers on Hunger Action Day, September 19th at the food bank. If you would like to help, please contact me. I would be happy to have you join our packing team.
