25 Years and Going Strong

It’s hard to believe that Brian Walker, our President and CEO, has been here for 25 year! What a fantastic accomplishment. We are so proud of his work and leadership.

A customer must have 3 things to register and begin supporting KANSAS FOOD BANK:

  • A Plus card, which is available at any store by asking an associate
  • A valid email address, which can be obtained from any free online service and can be anonymous
  • A personalized account at our website, which again can be anonymous

  1. Members must visit our website at www.dillons.com/communityrewards
  2. Sign in OR Create an account
  3. Click on “Enroll Now”
  4. Enter the 5-digit NPO and search
  5. Select your Organization and click on “Enroll”

That is all shoppers need to do.  From there, donations will be distributed to the Kansas Food Bank on a quarterly basis.  (Just a note, you do have to re-enroll every February!)

Letter Carrier Food Drive – Saturday – May 14th

By , May 4th, 2022 10:18am

The National Association of Letter Carriers will conduct their food drive on Saturday, May 14th. Letter carriers across our community, state and nation will collectively work together gathering non-perishable food donations left at the mailbox during their mail routes. All food is then distributed to the local food bank or pantry.

We are happy to have this event back. It is the largest one day food drive that is held for the Kansas Food Bank.

Be sure and watch for a special postcard in your mailbox announcing the food drive. Then on Saturday, May 14th, leave your non-perishable food donations our for your letter carrier to pick up and bring back to the Kansas Food Bank. We appreciate all the hard work that goes into making this happen. Be sure and thank your letter carrier when you see him or her!

Kansas Food Bank Sets Sail!

By , May 3rd, 2022 12:04pm

Team KFB set said at the Hutton Boat Regatta. Our goal was to build a boat out of cardboard and duct tape that we could race across the pool without sinking or throwing our crew overboard.

We were among ten other local non-profits invited to participate in the brand new Maize Aquatic Center. Check out the cardboard boat races and see how we did!
